Seth Kearsley

Executive Producer/Director/Writer/Creator

With over three decades in animation, I've heard "you directed my childhood" more times than I can count — and it never gets old.

I've worked across adult animation, feature animation, and kids' content because early on I decided that over-specializing breeds weakness. My career started in action, expanded into comedy, and has always been driven by a love of great acting, dynamic staging, and stories that stick with you. Credits include directing Eight Crazy Nights, Family Guy, and The Looney Tunes Show, and story work on Phineas and Ferb, Sing, and The Secret Life of Pets.

But the work I'm most excited about right now is my own. I'm currently creating Neverwonderland — a dark reimagining of Alice in Wonderland that I've been building from the ground up as a graphic novel series. It's the project I always wanted to make and I'm making it.

Miyazaki did some of his best work from my age on. Frank Lloyd Wright built the Guggenheim in his eighties. I'm a young pup compared to those titans — still learning, still improving, and just getting started on the work that matters most.
